She's Crafty

My latest rehab with Archway Development officially hit the market on Thursday! Good news, bad news though— it sold in under 24 hours. I immediately fell in love with with the charm and layout with this arts & crafts bungalow. I knew from the moment I walked in what I wanted to do design- wise. The character, built-ins, layout and Bertha <see woman on mantle> instantly connected.

First Floor Floor Face Lift

Let’s talk LIGHTING. Lighting can be such an easy and affordable thing to replace in an older home. This 2005 Urbandale ranch had heavy Tuscan lighting and a sponge painted fireplace that were immediate eye sores for it’s market and competition. I worked with the seller on budget and we were able to replace 13 light fixtures on the main level for under $2k. The return on investment would be major for this $489k listing. Thanks to the listing agent Gina Swanson, Webster Electric, Brian Bartlett Painting and my team we were able to change out lighting, paint and stage this home in 6 hours. Talk about team work!

End of Summer Inventory

It's been fun and busy last two months!  Thank you to all the investors, agents and sellers who have hired me to help sell their listing.  Whether it was already listed, new to the market, a flip, occupied, vacant or a spec.  I love and appreciate them all.  Happy selling and happy buying, Des Moines!

Best,

Jess
